Gary (aka: Spud) was born drumming and at 2 months old was the best air drummer in New England! He started playing drums at the age of 10 after a two week stint on the trumpet. His father didn't want him to play the drums fearing they would make Gary go deaf. However after playing the trumpet at home, Gary's father informed his mother that he could play the drums after all! Herb Alpert was in no danger of Gary taking over his band....

Gary, best known as the drummer for 8084, can also be seen drumming with Tim Brick, Duane Carleton (DC3) and Carol Ann Jones. Check the schedule page for dates.

Gary's major influences include Danny Seraphine of Chicago, Ian Paice of Deep Purple, Jeff Pocaro of Toto, Jon Bonham of Led Zeppelin and famous 60's and 70's studio drummer, Hal Blaine.

Throughout his career, Gary has opened up for many artists including: The Lost Trailers, Bucky Covington, Josh Gracin, David Alan Coe, Tracy Lawrence, Josh Thompson, April Wine, Warrant, Honeymoon Suite, Rick Derringer, Kitty Wells and Tammy Wynette.
